-Tune Transcriptions

Have you ever listened to a set of fiddle tunes and said "I'd like to learn those tunes! I wonder where I can find the sheet music?" Now you can have a transcription of any fiddle tune! Keep in mind, the version of the tune will be as close as possible to the one you have been listening to!

Through this site, you can send via email a music file in mp3, .wav or wma (Windows Media File) format and have the sheet music in your inbox within a day or two! The cost of this service is $10 per individual tune and you can pay with Paypal, Visa or Mastercard. There are two easy steps, here's how it works:

Step One - Click on the Donate button and donate $10 per tune you want transcribed.         

Step Two - Send your files to this email address: (Please send only one set of tunes at a time as the files can be quite large.)

* If the tune you want transcribed is part of a set, please specify if it is the first, second, third tune, etc.

*I will write out the original melody (does not include double stops) as played on the recording. Where possible, I will include variations.

*Chords and double stops can be charted as well. Please email the music file BEFORE paying. I'll let you know if I can do it and how much extra it will be.

*I am best at transcribing from a fiddle lead, but I will try other instruments if requested.

*You will get a reply within 24 hours saying your file has been received, and the transcription can usually be done in 2 days.

*The tune will be sent to you by email as a pdf document.
